boston shot 50% from the field and made 15 3pters and still lost-here is why no inside game 6 of there 8 off rebounds were long rebounds off of long shots. philly also played a trap d with mutumbo clogging the middle. boston had a hard time with it some of the 3ers were 30 feet. the interior d and perimeter pushed these guys out. what i thought was interesting is brown still giving them the 3s. in the 2nd half. sure enough the law of averages caught up. meanwhile snow iverson and coleman all looked like they got there game legs back. the first 2 games all 3 got tired legs and could not hit there shots. this team is 100% for the first time this year. they are the same team that went to the finals last year. again this game will be decided by offensive boards and defense. i believe philly has a big edge in both. they have a rabid crowd, the experience and backs against the wall. phiily by 8.

word is brown liked the pace of the last game so expect a fairly fast paced game. i do not think we will see another 210 performance- boston will not shoot as well as game 3- i see a 98-90 type of game. philly knows they go to the basket at will and get fouled or score. i also think it will be 7-9 pt game with acouple minutes left so these excellent ft% teams will push the game over.

Thunder.............

I was look'n seriously at the Celt/6er over myself.

-Boston will shoot the 3 ball

-AI will get to the free throw line

The over looks good:

-if the Celts can elimate the 18 trunovers like in game 3

-if the Celts 3's are drop'n

-an the team behind late in the game fouls

Earlier this season dnugs said something I haven't forgotten, "I don't like to use the "if" word when wagering!" Probably good advice but what's hold'n me back here is:

-Out of the 7 games these two have played this season....they would have covered tonight's 183 only 4 of the 7!

99-83* =182
106-90
100-94
96-91
92-82* = 174 game 1
93-85* =178 game 2
108-103 = 211 game 3

-On the positive side....2 of those 3 under 183's were in games 1 and 2 of the playoff series (as the teams were possibly a bit tight and AI was just coming back from injury)!

STILL THINK'N.....but don't be surprised if I pop in later with a position on the OVER 183 for tonight's Celts/6er game. Best of luck to ya. ez

ez remember between iverson coleman and snow your looking at 60% of there scoring so totals during the season will not bode well also this is the 4th game in arow where there all playing together- there o looked very good in the second half. i like the over

You do realize 4 of 7 is 57%+.......I'd take 57% right now, in fact, I think I will.....give me the over ;)

looking at this game i can not see one reason to take sa- sa is up 2-1 away from home without there stars leaders and rebounders. i see a very fast paced game with 2 excellent shooting teams isee a shootout at the ok corral with seatle being wyatt earp. seatlle 100-89 gl

Thunder --

Thanks so much for your write-ups, your insights are amazing.

Even when your NBA picks lose (which isn't that often) your points are always right on the money. I've been using your game analysis to make a lot of dough on second half plays, your comments really help me make a quick decision on who's going to come out on top.

For example, using your vision of the game I see Philly coming out of the gate fast taking it straight to the hole on every possession. Boston meanwhile may be a little slow to hit the 3's not on their home court and in front of a hostile crowd.

My play: Philly -1.5 (first quarter)

Thanks.

- Jon
