The track is slow as shit. It's built on an old potato field and the dust actually comes up every time they make a corner. If there's a track where a McLaren can win this year this might be it. I think I'm going to bet on Coulthard.

For the pole, my initial assumption was that the Ferraris are a sure thing but Montoya did win the pole at Monaco which is almost as slow. So who knows.

Also does anyone have a clue if Hungary is being affected by the floods in Europe? Is there a chance this thing might not even go off?

I was surprised to get up this morning and find qualifying still open. Usually our friends close it prior to 2nd practice.

I wonder if this was an oversight or if it will be an ongoing thing. I hope it is the latter.

In the meantime I didn't do so hot since I took Schumacher for the pole and I lost 3 of 5 matchups

Won with: Trulli over Button and Panis over Villeneuve
Lost with: Massa over Fisichella, Irvine over de la Rosa, Raikkonen over Coulthard

I wouldn't bet Heidfeld over Coulthard. Coulthard is a better driver and the McLaren can hold an awful lot more fuel than the Sauber.

Re Barrichello

I can't get it out of my mind: Barrichello sitting there by himself while everyone else is on the warm-up lap. Did it ONLY happen twice? GLTA, Ticker
