Boston College -9.5 over the Johnnies
Many got the line at -8 but its gone up.Game is at 12.00 at the Garden.They should of moved it to Almuni Hall.
With 6 players missing,Johnnies are of course in big time trouble.
Cuffe,Stanley and Hill are the only starters left.Johnson is 7'2 and cannot play.He has an ankle problem from birth and cannot bend his knees.So he is really useless today.So that leaves the 4 walk ons.Three of them have never scored a pt.Two of them are 5'10,the other 6'2.Missere is 6'8 and from my area.Our local paper just did an article on him.He was cut by his HS team and nows plays for the Johnnies.The article made his HS coach look bad.Cut in HS but good enough for D-1.The coach is a good friend of mine.He sucked basically.And today if he plays everyone on ESPN can see for themselves.,
Johnnies only have 4 scholarship players so a walk on will start.
I'm sure Hill,Cuffe and stanley will play their ass off but there is no way they stay with BC.
BC's frontline Smith,Dudley, and Agabai are 6'7 and 6'8.All three can score and rebound.But off. bds are their strengths.They have 64,58 and 44 off bds.Marshall and Watson are solid players.Thier one real weakness is shooting the 3.But who needs the 3 when if you get the ball to Smith and Dudley inside.These guys are getting double-doubles.
They just beat ND and was losing to UConn 58-56 with 42 seconds left the other day.They beat Hall and Nc St.
Lyr they beat the Johnnies by 18 on the road.And that was with some scholarship players.
Skinner won't run it up but I think he can.
Johnnies will play zone.They have too.To protect the non-players.
BC wins this by 15.
A storm is brewing in the Gardan today.It might be a Hurricane,Tsunami,Sand or snow storm.But I think its a Red Storm and it looks like a disaster..
