Huskers new uniforms

Here is the final edition of what coach Solich approved. Not much difference other than the piping down the sides and the block rendition of "Nebraska" no longer above the numbers. The numerals will be a little higher on the jersey's and slightly smaller and they will wear all white on the road now. No helmet changes...

And the "N" still stands for knowledge.

I like the all whites on the road, but Nebraska's old uniforms were great and now they look like BYU. Notre Dame's gold stripe makes me cringe every time that I see them on the road.

Bobby I agree with you wholeheartedly. The changes proposed to the Husker new Duds were much more dramatic (space numerals larger piping on home uni's black added as a color) but the alumni and boosters basically threatened to quit supporting because it was that big a deal. I will miss the uni's that Nu recently had very sharp and crisp looking. These just have that look like "we will change them for the sake of change". Kind of like Coke and New Coke!

I hate what they did to ND's uniforms, especially the road ones. Whatever happened to tradition???

They look like soccer jerseys.

At least they left the helmets alone.
