What happens when Trump gets his wall and it ends up not changing a damn thing is this country?

How do you react?

Also, how do you react if he is impeached for coercing people to lie for him?

I think he will, simply because the Democrats will smarten up, and throw themselves on the sword.

Americans want this over, and both party leaders are so blinded by blood in their eyes, that neither understands that the one who ends this, will be in a better light with the people.

For purposes of discussion only. I do not think there will be a wall when all is said and done, even Trump and his supporters know that it's just asinine.

I am curious what his supporters think, though. What happens when they get their wall and this country is still fucked up? Mostly because I don't think this is about the wall anymore for anyone involved, it's just about winning.

Well, what if they "win" and end up winning nothing, but hurt all those people along the way who aren't getting paychecks right now?

I'm just curious as to their thought process, assuming they have one.

there is no winner when the supposed Leader of United States of America is acting like 2 year old standing up in is crib shaking his rattler and telling everyone he wants it his way.
NO MATTER WHAT.......

and when he gets his way he will know that if he screams loud enough again he can upset the whole nursery again and do it AGAIN..

We have a checks and balance in place for this kind of behavior...

It's time to leave up the stop sign.

I don't think this country is "fucked up".

Yes, politicians do some stupid shit - government shutdown, attacking immigrants, promoting racism, petty name calling, religio-freakism, phoney patriotism and other childish/clownish behavior, but bottom line:

We are a very prosperous country where nearly everyone can make their own way if they try. We have great freedoms in our lives to do most anything which does not harm others. We all have opportunities to be educated, live where we please, associate with whom we please.

Is there a country in which you would rather live? Not I.

Our country is as divided as it's been since the civil war.

And there are many countries that rival the U.S. plus several that surpass us in many ways.

The U.S. is pretty much Mike Tyson. At one time......unbeatable. Now? A fucking joke.

No doubt there is upside here in the US, but the broken parts that affect us all greatly remain broken. Healthcare cost is still a joke which affects us much more than that fucking wall ever will yet his supporters are quiet on that front. I could give you a list, but you know what the list contains, it contains the same old shit that isn't going to get fixed in this country and I would like to know why this fucking wall is the hill both sides have chosen for the people they represent to die on?

Don't worry about a fucking speech or a stupid good will trip, stop paying elected officials and take away their healthcare and other perks until the shutdown ends and I bet we find a resolution by noon of day 1.

The USA is a fucking joke? I disagree. The present politicians and other assorted idiots will pass away, just as they always have.

But you are titled to your opinion.

So when are you moving to Canada, Norway, Switzerland, Australia or some other Nirvana?

I would already be in Canada if I lived alone.

Our politics NEVER gets better.

If Canada is better, then why doesn't your...er, housemate?
see it that way? Surely you can make the case, you clever debater. Just lay out your flawless reasoning to him/her/them.

Or, why don't you find a housemate/whatever who does see it your way?

What are you, pussy-whipped? Dick-whipped?

Are the Democrats going to tear down the WALLS that were built when they FUNDED it?

This is simply untrue. Especially today, given the current systems and structures in place. The chances of significant social uplift for a child born into poverty in America is infinitesimal. Sure there are stories and instances of this happening, but the chances are probably similar to winning the lottery.

As an example, if all had the choice to "live where we please," wouldn't those who live in tornado alley choose to reside elsewhere? What about places considered to be "armpits of America" such as Buffalo, NY or Gary, IN or Nowheresville Coal Mining Town, WV? Do you think that everyone who still lives there wants to stay?

And moving to a different country altogether becomes even more problematic for lower income folk and those who live paycheck to paycheck.

FYI.

Peace! :)

and to think otherwise is pure folly.

Thus until every human who draws breath understands........

You are your brothers keeper...........

No excuse for this country to live in such social strife.

Would they chose to live elsewhere? Not necessarily.

I spent most of a year in Nowheresville (Actually Spencer) WV. Most of the folks who live in that Godforsaken stinkhole like being there. They are free to practice race hatred, wife beating, public intoxication, animal abuse, welfare cheating, poaching, and all the other practices they classify as the Gawd given rights of good ole white 'mericans.

This is just sadly accurate.
