Guys,
Sorry I haven't been around! I usually like to play the first short week and then the first big week of the college football season before Vegas can figure out their lines, then take two weeks off to watch games, study teams, trends, do my homework and come up with a formula for the remainder of the season.
For those of you who know me, you know that I have been very fortuante in college hoops the last couple years. Well, I have decided to tweek the formula that I use in College Hoops to see if I can make it work in College Football. I have taken the last 2 weeks to try it out before posting its plays going forward. The results have been mind boggling as it spit out 8 games two weeks ago going (8-0) and then 11 games this past week going (8-2-1). I really like the fact that it has a good mixture of underdogs that cover, underdogs that win outright, small favorites that cover and Big favorites that blow the number away. So the formula that takes into account a ton of information is now a whopping 16-2-1 the last two weeks. I played 4 of the games small in its first week and 5 of the games (counting the loser) this week but will NOT include any in my record as I didn't post them for the Madjackers.
I will in fact post all the games from here on though. Cross your fingers for me as I hope that I have finally figured a way to filter all the information I gather into a formula that will benefit us positively, similar to the way it has in College Hoops. I have tried to carry it over into pros, but just can't seem to make it work there. There are more factors that I can use in the college ranks that don't seem to exist at the Pro levels. Oh well!
See you all later this week!
Good to be back,
YAZ
