When we were dicking around on draft day i said this load would be a bust.

JaMarcus Russell's "life coach," John Lucas, has cut ties with the 2007 draft bust and asked him to leave Houston, according to Yahoo's Jason Cole.
Lucas, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1976 NBA draft and all-American tennis player, is renowned for helping athletes with addiction and personal problems. After initially working hard to get back to the NFL, Russell had lost motivation, forcing Lucas to bring in Charles Barkley as a mentor. Both men have now thrown up their hands in frustration with Russell's "deteriorating work habits." Perhaps most damning, Ravens president Ozzie Newsome, a fellow Alabama native, refused a request to meet with Russell in January. Said one source to Cole, "The title of your article should be, 'It's Over.'"

Where it is real F ing COLD
A buddy of mine living up here in Northern Wisconsin who to everyone's surprise is an LSU fan:facepalm: told me that Russell would be a great NFL Qb. I said that I would rather have Quinn. So we bet shots on it and he says that he won cause Russell started a bunch of game. I say Quinn even though not starting is still in the league.

Why anybody wanted Russell and give him that much money is beyond me. I think the Auburn Q who for some drunken reason cant remember his name has a lot of Russell in him

Bleed u know what i never liked about him? I bet if we dug up those old post i said he never runs. when he was at LSU he just refused to run. He would take the sack. I never saw such a big strong black athlete that flat out refuse to run. And he was just so slow in the pocket. Once the game got faster from the LSU days he was finished. Then again i did say i didn't like Matt Ryan either. Im still not sold on him. Much better then Russell but i think he is still way overrated.
