Race 6, #8

was just looking through the card and this one caught my eye. obviously his recent form is spectacular but what the hell happened with this horse?

didnt race as a 2 year old, so a bit late getting to the races and last year never really found his best. albeit he never finished worse than 4th in 2013, he only got up to show twice.

so he goes on a 7th month layoff and comes back to the races an absolute beast.

comes straight off the 7th month break and obliterates his previous top effort and breaks his maiden.

so you think alright, that was out of the norm for him, gotta bounce next time out. nope, comes out and smashes that top effort with a ridiculous effort and stakes quality speed rating.

so then you think certainly this guy is gonna bounce and regress after 2 monster efforts.

not so much. he wins by a ridiculous margin in the slop and although the speed rating was a shade lower, he still ran a great number and won by 8 lengths.

at this point, I cant play this horse to bounce. he can come from off the pace and has obliterated his competition in the last 3 races with really no pace to run into.

this guy is a new horse as a 4 year old and I have rarely seen improvement in that manner. its common to see an out of the ordinary outstanding effort and then a bounce but this guy has posted 3 very good efforts with no regression which leads me to believe he is going to be consistently at this new level.

going to watch the tote board and play this one if the odds are decent but I would think not.

I never play Parx so I might be totally off here but this one definitely caught my eye as I glanced through the better races on the card
