The Buckeyes lose their next 2....A week off they come out rusty and even if they didn't have a week off I think Wiscy has exactly what it takes to beat the Buckeyes. They make you play defense and stretch you out with bigs able to hit the 3,both will hurt the Bucks.I think Craft will struggle to guard Taylor and my guess is Sullinger gets some cheap reach ins guarding all the pick and pops from Wiscy.

Then Bucks struggle to bounce back and Spartans are in perfect spot to take advantage, they have looked terrible but I think they match up very well vs the Bucks.Green and Roe will matchup well vs the OSU frontcourt and they need this win in the worst way.Love the Bucks but they need a wake up call and no way they go undefeated,I been saying to my buddies they would lose these next 2 a few weeks back if they where still undefeated.... On a side note said Cavs would keep losing and would lose to Clips and Wiz,Wizards get first road win vs Cavs.WHY? they have too much down low for the Cavs.GL all

I agree the Bucks take one on the chin in Madison. I can't recall the last time they won in Wisconsin but I'll bet you would have to go back to the '90s.

Any reasonable number gets my money.

While I certainly expect the Bucks to stumble at some point, I'm not ready to step in front of that bus. Especially with 80 other games on the board to choose from. Going against a juggernaut is cool but not if you fork over the cash 1,2, or 4,5 times in order to pat yourself on the back.

I much prefer to see them stumble once or twice and look for the opening to jump ON them again.

Just about everyone that has a loose C note is lining up to bet the Badgers. The books are going to need Buckeye money and I mean hard Buckeye money right from the start.

I think that Wisc opens at -1 or pk.

Just my best guess

I wouldn't be surprised to see it as high as Wiscy-3. You will still have plenty of Buckeye backers.

I'm not trying to pat myself on the back just simply giving out my feeling, some post theres and some don't.I think Wiscy will exploit the Bucks at the defensive end.I don't see the Bucks staying with their defender when chasing them around all the picks and it will wear on their legs with the week off.Watch as the usually hot shooters for the Bucks are all of a sudden short on their jumpers as they will have heavy legs, they don't go deep....My belief that they follow it up with another loss to the Spartans is simply you don't know how they respond to a defeat, and Spartans need to win out, when is the last time Izzo missed dancing?I don't know and doubt he will.Somehow he gets his team to perform and go far but not sure that happens and would bet it doesn't,however I think they steal one vs the Bucks.

After I put this up, I was afraid some might misread my intent. I have the same feelings as you about teams at certain times during the season. I just have this paranoia of stepping in front of a bus. I feel better staying off the game and looking for an opening at another time. The sheer number of games gives one so many opportunities. We are always looking for an edge and I just feel others present better options.

I NEVER take shots at anyone in these forums. First of all--I respect everyone's insight. They came up with a strategy and they stand by it. Second-- I'm not that smart which is why I rely on everyone's insight. For yours and everyone else---I thank you.

All good no hard feelings, even if you disagree I have no problem with you chiming in a thread of mine,I welcome others opinions. Some don't like others butting into their thread but I like it.Actually welcome the side of others who disagree more so then the ones that agree, maybe.Just like when others make a nice point that might contradict what I think. It is one thing to state why you disagree rather then just saying your wrong or jumping on you after the fact.Like I said more then welcome to give your side in my threads.GL I'm a Buckeyes fan but just have a bad feeling about these next 2.

My Quick take as a sports investor:

I have watched one game in THE Kohl Center, the come-from behind win vs Michigan St in Jan, 2005 to continue the winning streak that would eventually end vs Illinois later that month at 38.

I have to play the Badgers here or leave the game alone, at the current line. Give me the Buckeyes + 3.5 for monopoly money, that way the fan and the gambler in me will be happy:)

Regardless of the outcome, enjoy!

All I'm going to say is the Buckeyes better lose by more then the spread,if Wiscy wins by 1 that would be the ultimate dagger to me as a Bucks fan.Want Bucks but just don't think they pull it off,I'm not putting a huge wager on it but will have an interest in it.

Ohio State will finally get the chance to show that they deserve to be #1; as if whipping Purdue's ass wasn't enough...

Vegas is smarter than you're giving them credit for... Since everyone in America; as well as several people in some third world countries believe Wisconsin will win, of course they set the line with Wisky as a small favorite, thus confirming everyone's confidence in the Badgers.

Beware my friends, if you're betting Wisky...

The Buckeyes shine today... 63-55

:iagree:

Wisky is a monster at the Kohl Center, but they really don't have much in terms of a team this season, IMO. They almost got rolled on the road vs a terrible Iowa team on Wed--yes, there was the look-ahead to this game in play--but while watching that game I didn't see anything out of Bucky that makes me think they can hang with the #1 team in the country. Take all of this with a HUGE grain of salt as I am probably the worst college b-ball 'capper you have ever seen...:mj07:
