Thanks Nick. This is the first season that I can recall, where the single run has not cost me too many times. They are blowouts, or straight losses. Last night just happened to be a 1 runner.
I was -40 units a month ago, and have pared that down quite a bit. My reacord is still crap, but I am hitting the 3-4 unit plays, and losing the singles, so that is a plus.
Ups and downs never seem to change. Streaks are as certain in this business as anything. You have no idea how close I came to "throwing in the towel" on my season last month. It just seemed futile. I just need to avoid the bad swing for the next 6 weeks.
I often find that the better I do, the sharper my game is. When I'm on a roll, I seem to cap a little harder to keep it going.
Best of luck to all of you the rest of the way, and to the RJ backers last night.....you can breathe again!
