Toy,

Interesting point! Where do you think the public money will be going tonight? Definitely not on the Spurs moneyline, that's for sure! ;)

mid week prime time game . . .

mid week prime time game . . .

Yeah, it's true the NBA/ABC will do anything for $$$! Just so all of the folks in New York can see our game in prime time. Let's see how this will play out:

5:05pm PST: Staples Center - Opening Tip Attendance: 7,896

(Simultaneously) 10,000 people stuck on the 10/110/101 trying to get to the game after lying to their bosses and telling them that it was their turn to pick up the kids from day care.

5:10pm PST: Every non-Laker fan/Joe public/San Antonio Fan/Laker Hater makes the statement: "Geez, these guys don't even care about their team. Here it is game 6, and they can't even get to this game on time. Typical West Coast fans. San Antonio wins game 5, and they're all ready to pack it in. They must be at the beach."

Meanwhile in Sacramento, where their barn sits way in the hell away from downtown, away from traffic. Their fans are allowed to jump off of the tractor, mill around the general store, and chew the cud with the Huckleberry at the Sonic before they even have to think about "meetin' at the gym." All the while feeding the monster that is The Fair Weather Los Angeles Fan.

Bitter? Maybe.

It was fun while it lasted. Thanks for the memories Los Angeles. Oh, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out! :D
