Just started last year...but I have learned (the hard way) to never bet a player prop to go OVER..in any sports.
I always take the UNDER this year, and with good success.
Baseball, football, basketball, hockey.....doesn't matter.
I.E.....total rushing yards, receptions, hits, runs scored, points, etc...
Here is my reasoning.....often, a players is pulled (blowout, benching, etc) or injured or somebodyt else on his team has a big night.
It is much easier to root for nothing to happen, rather than something to happen.
The only problem is the vig on props can eat at your bankroll. And, the lines tend to be shaded toward the low side, anyway.
Just a thought and strategy I wanted to pass along.
