I typically buy off of 6 and 6.5 to get to 7 but I'm not so sure it's as key of a number anymore.

I like bill Simmons take on it... the XP used to be so brainless and easy that the kicker never had to think about it. It was a confidence booster every time. Now it actually takes thought and concentrTion that when they miss one it completely throws them off their game.

On the course!
I think they should move it back another 5-10 yards.

It's the best change in the game that they have made in years!

I think the distance is perfect. Whoever came with that distance is genius. It's still ALMOST automatic, but enough uncertainty to make it interesting. We had a total of 12 missed extra-point kicks today.

I really think more teams should go for the 2. I hate when people criticize coaches for going for the 2 when the expected value on going for the 2 is BETTER than kicking for the 1, based on 2015 & YTD 2016 figures. It was something like kick was 95% and 2 points attempt was 48%, so if you went for 2 every time, then you end up with more points than if you went for 1 every time.

Anyway, I loved MSU going for 2 versus OSU yesterday. Even though they lost because of it, at least it gave them a better chance to win. IMHO (and in Mark Dantonio's opinion).

That was an idiotic move. Even if they make it, and go up by one, Ohio State still had over 4 minutes to march down and get a FG.

i agree. i think oh state lost momentum and to pressure was on them, 4 minutes or not - barrett only was threatening with feet - anyways, off topic, my bad.
