Yeah, I love this place.
I am not as big a fan as most in this forum (plus my Aves have looked like shit all year until now), but I am learning everyday from great cappers like Sam, NDHorns, DDubbs, Chenker, Kick, Trade, Rakman, Bound, Cappin Tiger, WIZZ, Noall, TV, A High, Muggs, Frog, Korn, etc (sorry if I missed anyone--not intended). As well as longtime staples like IE and Tiger.
Not to mention making a little money.
I wish I could get myself to wager a little more/game, but after the run I had in early Nov I am still licking my wounds.
I would like to commend all of you for keeping a "clean" board and thank you all for your effort and enthuiasm in kicking the man in the nuts...
If I can do ANYTHING to help let me know...

I must say that I agree with you completely. I first came in to this forum during the 2000/2001 season and I have maintained since that time that it is the best sense of family you can find in an online handicapping forum.
I really wish that I had more time on my hands these days so that I could contribute like I used to. To those of you that do contribute regularly, I thank you dearly and just know that at least one person out there understands and appreciates the hard work you do and the time you take out of your daily lives to help others learn the craft of handicapping hockey.

I too have to agree. This forum is the best on the net. There is no bashing and everyone supports each other. I have seen so great dialouge between each other when there is 2 people on opposite sides. I truly appreciate the work that is done. Keep up the great work and best of luck to all here!!!
I think it was in 2000 when I first started lurking at MJ's. Although I would not describe Ice Hockey as my favourite sport when I joined ( and I would be interested where it comes for Others ) it was one of Chenkers posts, a well written and respectful piece why he was on the opposite side of a game to another Contributor ( Sam I think ), which made me take note of this Forum. And to be frank the quality and the class of this Forum is second to none - and matched only by the Golf guys.
It is the quality of these posts that has made Ice Hockey one of my favourite sports - it is easy to take a liking to a sport when the money is rolling in. And now I can understand what my old Dad saw in the game decades ago when he used to go and watch the great Czech and Russian sides at the old White City Stadium in London.
Every day there are those on one side and those on the other - and yes, as individuals we are desperate to be right, but there is a genuine sense of best wishes to those on the other side ( not too much of course!! ) and the assistance, information and advice provided can only be of great help to all that take a look inside this Forum.
May it remain that way always.

Since we are the SB outcasts what if we tried for a Stanley Cup party somewhere in June?
Maybe a quick trip north of the border to see the Hockey HOF, dinner and a few cocktails at one of the finer establishments in the area? Just a suggestion...others welcome!

That would be a great idea. But then we would all have to travel down to Ottawa for the Stanley Cup final. I am sure this will get a rise out of a few Leafs fans. But then again, the way the Sens play in the playoffs we might be having to stay in T.O. for the Cup final.
