Hey guys I want to start this new system, the thing is that i need help from 29 of you (one for each team), by the way the Nittany stuff was only to get attention. What I want to do is to check each team past results (from this season), and check first game of each serie, after that, check if the winner and the total of the first game repeat on the next 2 games (maybe 3) and also how many times goes the opposite way.
Example:
4/2/2001 Mets vs Atlanta 6-4 Over
4/3/2001 Mets vs Atlanta 2-3 Under
4/4/2001 Mets vs Atlanta 1-7 Under
That means that going opposite from game #1 will show profit on the second game.

So please guys, if you like the system i will appreciate any help. I can do Atlanta.
Thanks.

Don't know what your asking for exactly:
They are 26-10 game one of series
After game one win they are 18-8 in game two
They are 7-3 after a loss in game one
They have won all but two series this year, those two losses coming at home. Won em all on road. Hope this helped. All this team is doing is winning. Unbeleivable pace they are on.

I think hes only looking for total plays...not sides....here what I did with the Phillies...remember some series started with a push or a PPD....
Out of 36 series.....
The total in the second game was opposite than the first game 18 times.
The toal in the third game wasopposite than the first 11 times.

Don't take this the wrong way, Jesse, but this effort is a relative waste of time. You are much better off actually handicapping games rather than trying to come up with arcane systems based off one year of data.

Again, I don't mean this as an insult but it seems like you are a relatively novice handicapper and in almost every case systems like this have a short shelf life of success if any at all.

Jesse,

Handicapping games and making a better line than the oddsmaker is the only way to make money in the long-term. You may see ridiculous schemes here at MJ's that try to circumvent this, but over the long-haul these 'systems' are destined to lose.

Just remember, there are no short-cuts.

KOSAR.. you may not have executed that well as a NFL QB

, but that was well said...

Very few system plays prevail over the test of time, too many variables in this one, such as pitching matchups, HP UMPS, who's sitting when, etc.... Time will be much better spent looking up important stats than doing this IMHO.

The ONLY system that has worked for me consistantly is the progressive system, betting in SMALL increments. For every $250.00 I bet $5 games. For example, if I have $750.00 I will use a progressive system based on $15.00 games. If I increase my bankroll to say, 2,250.00 I will use a system based on $45.00 games. I know this may sound tedious to some, but it has turned 70.00 into over 700.00 for me in about 2 weeks time. The key is PATIENCE and not getting greedy. I also will STOP the system and start a fresh line of games if my losing streak gets too long, that way I avoid big time losses that can occur with a progressive system but I have not encountered that yet. Just my two cents but it seems that if you use this method it turns the law of averages in your favor and by betting small, you really have to have a long string of losses to knock you down
