I think to much is being made over Washington's offensive ineptitude last week??

Most of it was because Gibbs put the Skins in ultra conservative mode with a early 14 pt lead and the fact that he knew that Tampa Bay was'nt going to put up tons of points anyway..........

Portis is banged up I believe as well which contributed to the dismal effort. He had something like 16 carries while Betts had 10

I can say this.

Tampa has a much better secondary than Brunell will be facing this weekend in Seattle.

Better secondary.............better linebackers(no Derricks Brooks for Seattle) and better defensive line (no Simeon Rice for Seattle)......than this week.......

i totally agree and have been thinking about this. i think santana moss will have a good day. seattle defense can often over-pursue. Given some good playcalling, the redskins should move the ball.

I think it is that simple. The Skins were up 14 and didn't need to open up their offensive playbook.
No new wrinkles. Just hang on for dear life.

Now this week may be a different story. . .unless they are handed another 14 point lead.

I just don't see how anyone can lay more than a TD in this game. I'll take it though.

Who has Seattle beaten by more than a touchdown? ARIZONA (2x); SAN FRAN; HOUSTON; ST. LOUIS; PHILLY (with no TO or Donovan); & INDY (with no Manning or starters).
Not exactly an impressive lot.

Washington's only loss by more than a TD was against the Giants in the Wellington Mara Farewell Game. An aberration. :)

Did you guys watch the Wash/Tampa game? Seattle is damn lucky that Washington won that game....beating the skins is gonna be much easier than trying to beat Carolina.

Skins are not very good. And look at track record of 6 seeds in this spot. i think it is 6 or 7 consecutive blowout losses.

I'll tell you right now........Seahawks should have beaten them earlier in the year and if it wasn't for a missed 47 yard FG in the final seconds they would have. That was in the Redskin yard when the entire Washington team was healthy........and flying high. Good luck Saturday......there are way to many offensive weapons here for the skins to deal with.
