I'm not Jesus, but I am one of His followers. He is a mighty king and worthy to be praised.

I feel sorry for George Bush.

Damnit, we voted you the new Jesus. You need to accept your role and start acting more like a saviour, for Christ's sake!

That's more like it.

God and I are on good enough terms to allow for the occasional name in vain. God's mostly about action isntead of words. ....mostly.

Not sorry for Bush. Sorry for us. He has been knowingly lying and wrong since ...... forever. There is a bed in Hell with his name on it.

I feel sorry for him because he has to live with his conscience. For me, it would be difficult.

That is what seperates guys like you and me and just about everybody else from him Buddy. He knows no conscience.

whats the differance from say owning a trucking company.

You pay drivers to do a job and you pay them. They all know the inherant risks.

Then one of the drivers has a accident and is killed on the road.

How do you as the owner deal with that ?

Are you responsible ?

Can you sleep at night ?

Let's say the road was all washed out ahead. An actual river running across the road.
Now the owner knew this but he didn't tell the driver. He knew the Driver would never go if he knew the danger.
And to top it all off the load he was going to pick up was never there. The owner also knew there was a 95% chance the load was NOT there.

Did the driver die in vain?

Do those American soldiers have the ability to quit their current jobs and go to work for another company, when they find out their leaders have been lying to them? And should they be forced to stay away from home on the road for months more at a time, when they did not sign up for that duty and did not want to do it? And were those truckers in your post driving by roadside bombs or just aware that there may be unsafe drivers on the road from time to time?

This very well could be the most lu-da-cris hypthetical I've seen posted on these boards...and that includes Manson and Spibble Spabble, may they rest in peace.
