I got a free ($25) SB prop bet through one of my online accounts. The free bet was "Pick the MVP". Since I had already bet the Giants +12.5 and had them on the ML, I figured if the Giants were goiing to win it, Eli would have to get them there. So, I took Eli. I didn't pay much attention to the odds at the time, but noticed after Eli had won it, that the odds were - 170. I can't figure out how the odds were so low since, in order for Eli to win the MVP, the Giants would have to win the game. The ML was +350. Any thoughts on why the discrepancy?
. . . or is this an example of a sucker bet . . . that I just happened to win.

sounds like a store having a sale. First, triple prices, then say everything is 50% off and make more.

Dirty business. Why couldn't they just give everyone a free $5 bet or something and have it be legit...

I don't play props as a rule and just assumed they would pay the going odds. When I won and realized how little I had won, I figured I had been had.
There's no such thing as a free lunch . . . or a free prop. LOL.

That is just signs of a horrible book. If Eli was -170 then what was Brady -400?

I would collect whatever I had left in there and get out!
