1) Nets +7 - 1 units
The analysis for this game is very simple to me. The Nets have now lost back to back games by 1 point - againts Golden State and the Kings playing shorthanded.
However, much like the Golden State vs. the Lakers game, the Nets have a great chance to win outright b/c this is the half way point of the season when they always take everything to another gear.
I know they're not in full strength but with Kidd and Carter as they continue to play great defense on the year allowing roughly 94 a game to opponents - hell, they held the Kings on their home court (despite the Kings being horrible) to under 90 points.
This team is very much like the Houston Rockets to me such as the 8 point dogs the Rockets were yesterday, who I missed out on as I didn't take my time I feel like, and I won't miss out on another 7 point dog with a team that has decent depth and can cover or win outright - the dogs that I love to play - Dogs that can win outright.
* NETS ARE 10-1-1 AS DOGS OF 5 TO 10.5 POINTS
* CLIPPERS ARE 5-12 ATS AFTER A WIN OF D-DIGITS.
Nets are great as dogs, just horrible as favorites it seems.
Possibly 1 or 2 college ball games to come later or I might just increase 1 unit on the Nets. I'll know this for sure by 5pm.
