in Columbus for blowing that whistle unnecessarily when the Jackets went down to score an empty netter.

I was at the game and Blaine Angus is the biggest horse's arse in the free world. Not only that call, which was the absolute worst call I have ever seen, but several other calls during the game.

Not only did it take two earned points away from the Blue Jackets, it also gives the Red Wings a point which in turn hurts the Dallas Stars in playoff positioning, it also potentially hurts the Blue Jackets in the draft number of weighted "ping-pong" balls, it also just plain sucks.

I have no idea what in the world this idiot was doing. It just seems to me that there are rules for the 29 other NHL clubs and a seperate set of rules for the Red Wings. The rule clearly states that the team with an injured player has to be in control of the puck before the whistle is blown. The reason it was blown dead tonight was because the net was empty and because it was the Red Wings.

Once again, Blaine Angus needs to get up from his knees because he certainly blew this one.

Thank you for your post. I will be directing your post to a couple of friends of mine who are saying I'm wrong for being mad at the call when I know I as a bettor & a fan of the game know the call was obviously bad. The Wings didn't deserve a point from this game.

I was pissed that I pushed the +255 ML I had, read that Vborny has a $50k incentive for 20 goals this season, that would have been #20. If there is any justice he will get 1 today.
