and my USC Trojans beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl, I would take the microphone after the trophy presentation, player of the game, and all that crap and say the following:

"We are the best team in the country and just won the National Championship. If the winner between LSU and Oklahoma wants to go down as the true national champion, then they should invite us to one final game ON THEIR FIELD. Winner takes all."

If Scott4USC is right about Carroll having balls and willing to play anybody anywhere, he will do just that.

Pete did say on the selection show about playing it out & facing the winner of the LSU vs Oklahoma game & if Michigan wins, maybe they would like to get involved. He proposed the game to be played at the BCA Classic.

IF, and I repeat IF, Oklahoma and USC were both to win their respective games and play one final game for all the marbles wouldn't that generate some kind of cash. It would be just as big as the superbowl. Both teams fans travel well. Put it in the biggest stadium and back up the brinks trucks. Plus what would television rights for the game bring in? They could always donate the money to the families who lost their sons and daughters in the war in Iraq. It would be big.
