All elected officials and government policy makers and those who enforce our laws swear to uphold the Constitution. So, is it a stretch to think that somewhere something has gone very very wrong?
I've been involved in the gaming industry for almost twenty-five years now and I am furious over the fact that online gambling has been singled out as a crime.
The government of the United States has said in no uncertain terms you may NOT pursue your happiness if it involves gambling or playing poker online
Gambling in a casino is okay. Gambling on a state lottery ticket is okay. Gambling online on horses is okay. Gambling in the stock market is okay. Gambling at a tribal casino is okay. Gambling at your church is okay (bingo). Gambling on Fantasy Football is okay.
So, why are YOU being singled out and denied an opportunity to enjoy your favorite pastime online?
You are being singled out because you have no voice. No political champion will bring this injustice to light. I will be your voice. I will bring this to the attention of all Americans.
I can do this because I am running for President of the United States as a Libertarian. The Libertarian Party is "America's Third Party." We will be on the ballot in 47 or 48 states in November of 2008.
I will be your champion because 10-20 million of you have been wronged by the moral majority do-gooders and Nanny State police in our federal government.

What if you are home-bound by illness or other circumstances? What if you live in a remote area far from a state approved casino? What if you want to play poker online so that you can stay close to home, and therefore spend more time with your family?
What right do they have to deny you and me a little pleasure like betting on a football, or basketball game, or a fun game of poker? The government busy-bodies and politicians don't have that right.
They just took it.
I want to stop this Nanny State mentality and you can help me. Libertarians believe government has no right dictating your personal choices.
If we work together we can restore all the rights we've lost to a government out of control.
The two old parties have eroded almost all of our Constitutional rights and protections from government intrusions into our lives to the point of the Constitution being unrecognizable.

There are at least 10 million online poker and gaming enthusiasts. If I can get an average of $100 from just one million of you, that's a $100 million bankroll to run a serious Presidential campaign.

When will we stop this insane war in Iraq? How is it we got into another undeclared war in the first place? Doesn't the decision to invade a sovereign country require an act of Congress? Of course it does. But the Democrats and Republicans did it without proof and without the Congressional authority required by the Constitution.
How can we restore the fun of just flying to our favorite vacation spot again? Without having to take off our shoes
throw out our toothpaste and bottled water
and having our children and grandmothers pulled out of line and not allowed to board- just because a bureaucrat screwed up a list of names.
Make no mistake- I will defend this country. But I will also be sure to do it properly, while respecting your rights, freedoms and liberties.
Our economy is collapsing under the weight of a trillion dollar war we don't want. And guess who Big Brother and the I.R.S. will look to, to pay for it?
Think about small businesses. What a burden they bear in all this. Not only are they loosing valuable employees to a back door draft of our National Guard and Reserves but consider the down turn in the economy as we dig out from this war debt.
Then there are the rules, regulations, red tape small business bears just to carry on a small enterprise like a restaurant or construction company. Talk about taking the American Dream of lifting yourself up by hard work and initiative, and turning it into a nightmare.
