Man I was unaware of the physical demands that we as adults must be able to withstand just to play with children these days! I spent the whole weekend just kicking it with my girlfriend and her two little boys! Man let me tell you I had more fun hanging out with them three than I have ever had hanging with my old drinking buddies! I mean we even did the right things and it was fun: went to church, went and ate lunch together, then watched TV and played football in the yard with all the neighborhood kids! It was Great! But damn I am sore as a smashed toe today.....they wore me out! The smallest of the 2 is a three year old who is just convinced that he is spider man! He leans over to me and says " hey boy you want a piece of me? " I look down and said I beleive I do! So he looks at me again and says " Well Lay down so I can kill you!" And he had the funniest look on his face..........Like he wanted to laugh but was not going to!

I laughed so hard and played so hard that I was in bed by.......Well I was asleep on the couch by 8:30 last night!


Man you just gotta love kids!

I can imagine what kind of person I would have been if I didn't have them. I would be still drinking uncontrolably & doing the "illegals" probably would have made a trip or 2 to the pokey.

If you get serious & settle down remember this.......
Ya know the song "Cats in the Cradle" ? Its soooooo true.
Kids will be the mirror image of you. Pay as much attention as you can to them or when you get older you may not see hide or hair of them.

#1 most important thing is........
Show them the love
