ILLINOIS ?3.5 - The winner of this contest will grab a share of the Big Ten lead with Wisconsin at 10-4. Not many people would have predicted before the season that this game would mean so much, but the Wolverines have been one of the biggest surprises in the country, thanks to an unblemished 6-0 record here at home in conference play. That being said, the cream usually rises to the top in these late-season pivotal games, and I think that the Illini have what it takes to get out of here with a critical road win. Illinois looks to be peaking right now, entering this game on a 3-game winning streak in which their average winning margin is an incredible 22.7 points. Granted, all those wins came at home, but a 30-point win over Michigan State and a 26-point win over Indiana suggests that they are ready to take their show on the road. They are also 5-0 S/U vs. Michigan since 2000, winning their last 2 trips to Ann Arbor by an average of 6 points, which would be good enough to cover this number.
