Why is Iowa the dog tonight besides the fact they are the road team?

They have an experienced roster and have been beating all the big ten teams so far.

I'm usually wrong about these things but wondering if you guys had some ideas.

Looking to play Iowa hoping the line keeps moving in their favor

On the road vs the #6 team. I thought I read somewhere Maryland has not lost a home game since they have been in the B10?

The linesmaker is hired to make money for the Sportsbook. Those who don't become EX-linesmakers very quickly. The motive of the linesmaker is to keep the player mystified. In other words, to attract the player to the wrong side and repel the player from the right side. Every one of these matchups is an enigma, a very complex riddle that is nearly impossible to solve. The question you asked about Iowa defies reason and logic, but you'll discover reason and logic in this racket will be very costly. Everything here is upside down, inside out, and most times backwards. Welcome to the world of eleven to ten.

ABOUT IOWA (16-3, 7-0 Big 10): After shooting 37.2 percent from 3-point range as a junior, Uthoff is up to 48.3 percent this year, including a 15-of-27 clip over the last five games. He has reached 20 points in five of his last six outings, while Peter Jok has shot at least 50 percent in four straight games after failing to do so in his previous five contests. Woodbury enters on the heels of three straight double-digit scoring performances, averaging 12.3 points and nine boards on 66.6 percent shooting in this contests.

ABOUT MARYLAND (17-3, 6-2): The Terps are 9-0 following a loss the last two seasons, but they'll need a strong effort from Trimble to extend that streak. The sophomore guard had a pair of disappointing games in mid-January but has rebounded nicely with 42 points over the last two games. ?(Trimble) is just as dangerous when he?s looking for shots for himself as he is when he?s loading other people up,? said Iowa coach Fran McCaffery. ?Those are the toughest guys to guard, especially when they can stop behind a screen and make a 3; he can put up points in a hurry.?

In the last ten games for each team, Iowa has been in the role of a favorite 7 of ten. Maryland has been designated as a favorite ten of ten.

Well obviously if it was that easy I wouldn't ask for help.

This game just stuck out to me.

I really like Tremble and Stone as players but they lack the experience.

But man Tremble is a nice college player.

The more and more I research the game and can't figure it out makes me wonder if I should just sit back, enjoy the game and stay away from betting it.

My gut says Iowa is due for a loss in the B10. Losing on the road to a number 6 team won't hurt them and might be good for them down the stretch? I would love to see them win. GL

I just like their experience so much that even if they lose it won't be by 6 or 7. Hoping line gets that high for some cushion

Please explain to me, how the line-makers know who the right side is and who the wrong side is?

In a perfect world (lines maker's world) they would get 1 billion dollars on EACH side and walk away fat

Wrong... In a perfect world they would get all 2 Billion dollars on one side, and the other side wins...

Right on Buddy! "The opposite of the obvious" especially rings true in the gambling world...

Half point winner!

I was sweating it. Iowa put up a fight with foul trouble and little scoring from uthoff.

What line did you get if you bet Iowa?. I took Maryland at -5 and just covered with the Mland 6 pt win. Don't think I ever saw it more than 5'?

I grabbed -5.5 and bought a point to 6.5 -130 I was hoping the line would get to 6 or 7 and then I could still buy a point but I lucked out for once.
