i wish good luck for a couple of reasons, 1) to offer encouragement and/or 2) to bump up the post. There are many more lurkers than you can imagine, and if I follow a particular capper and want my buddies to see it for comment, I'll bump it up. why not wish good luck in the process. if it was a good luck thread, that would be cluttersome, inside the thread seems fine, IMO
