im starting to believe that these games are fixed

it's getting to the point where i almost can be convinced otherwise

how does bc miss about 15 of 22 ft's in the last 90 secs the other night????

tenn just absulutely tried to win but not cover.....first they blow an 18 point lead to uga (okay, that's just losing focus) but then they foul a three point shooter with 20 secs left when up 6 then miss 2 ft's when up 6 with 10 secs left....uga misses immediately and tenn then make to two go up by 8 with 6 secs left....game over right?......well they give up a wide open three with 2 secs left lead down to 5....no problem right? well of course they throw away the inbounds pass and uga actually throws up a shot at the buzzer for a chance to cover.......fortunately for tenn bettors they miss

add this to the last 40 secs i wittnessed by uw who WOULD NOT LET UCLA foul them instead opting for bad cross court passes and dribbling by big men who committ turnover (one with 9 secs left and a 2 point lead).......WHY IS IT SO HARD TO STAND THERE WITH THE BALL AND GET FOULED???????

It's scary isn't it? I honestly don't know how anyone can consistently win at college hoops. But whoever can I tip my cap to them. I think you have to be VERY lucky to win on a consistent basis. I don't care how good a capper you are, there are just so many unexpecteds that happen in these games you have to have the luck of the Irish to escape all of the potential pitfalls.

well i do think the final outcomes (who wins/loses) are more predictable in college sports.....but the "luck" factor is a definite must beacause in football the spreads are so large and in hoops games change drastically during the foul fest...nothing is worse than sitting on an easy under for 38 mins only to see 25+ points scored during the last 120 secs of garbage time on ft's , gimmie layups and wide open threes just because one teams happens to be behind by 8 or so and decides to committ 10+ fouls in the last 2 mins.....or in the tenn game described above.....totally frustrating and sickening to watch a ball fly thru the air to determine if you win or lose when it should have been an easy win all along
