FPS (first pitch strike average) for all pitchers this year is .585. Anything over .630 very good. Best starters (thru last Sunday): Reed,Mets 5-2 .730
Schilling 8-1 .724
Radke 7-1 .695
Brown 6-2 .692
Vazquez 4-5 .681 Expos bad
Kile 7-3 .655
Prokopec 6-1 .652
