impotence....

let's talk about how inpotence pertaining to what is going on in the world.

let's take the u.n....

there have been many here, including me, who think that the u.n. should be terminated & the u.n. building leveled (hopefully with all of the delegates in there)...

we know about all of the resolutions that were imposed against saddam & not in forced.

a few years ago there was a resolution stating that hezbollah had to disarm. by the looks of things i don't think they did...& the u.n. again did nothing.

now there is a resolution against north korea & i heard it took all of 45 minutes for n.k. to reject this resolution. what does anybody here think will be done about enforcing this ?

now there is a party going on in st. petersburg russia, called the g8. does anybody here doubt nothing will be accomplished there, except taking nice group photos ?

doesn't anybody realize that negoiations, incentives, & light sanctions won't accomplish anything ?

except buying time for the terrorists & the rogue nations.....

I don't know about "nothing" going on. I saw Bush working on his quads riding his bicycle. LOL

Al, all kidding aside, this is escalating at a ugly pace, I'm not sure where things are going, but it doesn't look good. Hezbollah has provoked Israel for years looking for them to escalate, they finally got them to jump. This could easily spiral out of control.
