i thought that i would start a thread discussing the draft. hopefully there will be good participation by other members who follow the draft.

earlier today espn "confirmed" that the raiders will take the lsu qb russell with the first pick.

now later on it seems that they retracted that "confirmation".

hope to hear others thought on the draft...

i think that will be a tremendous get for the pats because i think bellichek will keep moss under control....

the raiders should draft johnson and then get a qb in the 2nd round.... but it won't happen.

it's official...oakland takes russell.

i think a mistake they will make is to play him immediately...so the raiders will probably pick up a veteran qb....

they had to do it...

although the nfl network says that he may be traded....interesting.

I think a 4th rounder to KC for Trent Green is in order for the Raiders.
