1) Atlanta Falcons/Minnesota Vikings.
An away loser, now home dog (AF+4) vs. a team off a home win now playing in week five is 15-5 ATS. Average score 19.8-21.8. If the home dog is off 2 straight losses the ATS record for the home dog is 11-2....average score 20.9-20.8. If the away team (MV) is off 2 straight wins the home dog's record is 5-1 ATS...avg score 26-27 (5-1 over).
2) Pittsburgh/Cleveland
A team off a home favorite loss now a home divisional favorite vs. an opponent off a home loss is 4-14 ATS...avg score 21-20.4. If this divisional home favorite outyarded their opponent in last week's loss they are 1-7 ATS...avg score 19.9-24.6.
If we take Pittsburgh's sequence back two games, a team off a previous home loss and a previous previous away win vs. a team off a home loss, the home divisional favorite is 1-7....avg score 20.6-19.4.
Take this information as either useful or useless. Mr. Christo, not trying to butt in......I read your stuff all the time. This time we disagree on a game which probably will be a rare ocurrence, I like the Vikings as a team but do remember a couple of weeks ago when they coulda/woulda/shoulda not covered as a road fav vs. the Lions when the Detroiters couldn't get it in from the one yard line and also had it inside the twenty on their last possession. I had the Vikes that game.
Good luck to everyone.
