Insane speed

The WoO visited the Bristol Motor Speedway back in 2000. The ran laps about 2 seconds faster than the Cup cars. I don't think I could hold my breath that long.

When testing was done at Bristol after laying the dirt, they actually took some banking out due to lack of vision through the corners. Could'nt see around the underside of the wing.
They also did some testing at Bristol with out dirt on asphalt tires and turned some insane speeds. I believe the times they were turning holds the unofficial record. Can't remember if it was Darland or Sammy.
