inserting pictures into text box

I thought I was fairly computer literate, BUT can someone walk me through on how to put pictures into text.

I went to IMG codes below and thought I followed instruction on how to embedd photos but, I can't get it to work

right click on the picture, highlite,copy & paste the properties URL. and insert it on the forum as a image.
