WEll Affeldt looked good first inning, gave up leadoff singel on second pitch, but locked in after that, Wells reached on an error (close call there) but he's giving up lots of ground balls. Kc looks nice but it's only 1 inning

Kc Beltran knocks one out, 1-0 KC, can get a nice price on TOR now if you like them at WSEX

Rough inning for Lilly, got a little lucky with Gonzalez poppin out, but just watching and listening (Justice doing commentary, and if you trust him he says Lilly leaving pitches up), be interesting to see how the next two innings go.
Strike three called, Lilly out of inning but threw 28 pitches already.

Side note Zaun for TOR got hit by Harvey on a big backswing, cause a little delay, be interesting to see if he can continue.

No bets yet sitting and watching, next two innings by Lilly will be huge imo.

Hinske hits one to the track nice run down by Guiel out in left.
Otherwise, Not much cookin for Jays. Affeldt looks nice.
Lilly comin up, we shall see

I need to see something from Jays, might place a small bet on them when lineup comes back through. Price on them (buy at 34) and over(buy at 40) low right now

I guess there is something to be said for pitching against the bottom of the order. Lilly a lot better in a blink and you might miss it inning. 9 pitches two groundouts and a strikeout!

Talking too good about Affeldt i guess, first two runners on base now, Johnson attempting to bunt but not beign successful so far...

Like i said Jays coming back around to top of order, good time to bet on them i think

LOL as i type that double play ball. Runner on third 2 outs though, missing that bunt was huge.

Affeldt gets him self out of trouble, Catt grounds out for second time today.
I did place on over bet at beginning of game not lookin so good now, Jays couldn't et a run out of first and second no outs, and KC had potential for big first inning only got one.

On a bright note, ESPN just gave me tips on how to play first base. Majors here i come baby! I won't be spoiled though. If a team only wants to pay me 5 mil, i will settle for that.

I wouldn't give up on your over play just yet. It's still only the third and neither of these teams have anything resembling a good bullpen.

I have the Jays so I'm hoping they can start hitting the ball and not blowing two on, no one out, situations again.

Bottom of the third inning, and we have had two topics to discuss

A) Justice is upset that the Jays have a no run philosphy. I am upset i can't spell philosphy. But anyway, the Jays don't attempt to steal bases. And now we've had him talk about that every inning.

B) First inning Wells reached because a high through brought the first baseman off the bag (i think he was still touching, shoul dhave been out, but ah well). Now we've had to listen to whether or not your heel or toe shoudl touch the bag when playing first base for 3 innings....

Back to the game, Beltran walked on 4 straight pitches, Lilly clearly pitching around him. 1st and third now with one out as single moved him over.

Wow, KC just screwed themselves that inning.
First, Gonzalez just looks bad at the plate. Reaching and popping up bad pitches twice.

Randa almost knocked one out, was foul but not by a whole lot.

Then Sweeney took off for second ont he next pitch, but decided against it and was caught up in a run down.

First and third 1 outs cleanup hitter at the plate, no runs.

I think the Jays will pull this one out, 4-3 final

Both teams missing excellent chances to score.

Went with over 10.5 bought one for 23 bucks (so if goes over made 77) small time there

SIGH....another double play. Man i have great timing :)

They don't ever bunt, either. "Small ball" is not part of their vocabulary at all.

"philosophy"

That's not fair Red, you are forgetting they have had one whole inning where they didn't hit into a double play.

Randa gets a hit, and i am thinkin he would have driven in a run last inning if the Royals had given him a chance to hit. Pure speculation of course.

And thanks BJ for clearing that spelling up. I knew it was wrong, couldn't figure out why :)

Why would you never want to bunt or steal? I agree with Justice yeah they can point to how many runs they knock in but where did they end up?
