Schilling is 21-1 after a D-Backs loss.....but the roof will probably be open LOL...Let Curt decided if he wants the roof open or not. The fans here bitched and said it should be open so they can gaze at the stars the way baseball was supposed to be. Well if your gazing at the stars then go to Sedona and gaze at them cause UR in my seat. I know baseball is fairly new here in AZ (as in the MLB) but I have never seen so many fans that have no idea of whats going on. Not to mention the usher .....Stl vs AZ and T. Martinez is at the plate and a fan is giving Tino the business..UR horrible, go back to NY, UR washed up, retire U bum (No curse words I remind U)...the usher walks down and says to the man, if U dont quiet down then U will be asked to leave the stadium...unbelievable. This is only 1 instance but on routine fly balls they scream as if Gonzalez has just hit one out on Madison Ave....P.S. Please dont do the wave when UR hometeam is batting...GL every 1

Here's another D-Backs stat for you: the over is 90-55 with the roof open at the BOB. Amazingly, this season the D-Backs are 18-6 over when Schilling or Johnson start.

Schilling overs

Schilling overs

I think AZ has scored something like 37 runs in his last 4 starts? Even if you toss out the 16-run burst vs LA, that still means they have averaged 7 runs / game in the other 3.

If you can find reasons to go over low totals, you can find some real value.

Very good info on Schilling and the DBacks. . . for me, I probably won't be able to pull the trigger on Schilling tonight especially since he may not be feeling 100%. The best time to take Schilling was his last start when only laying 145. . . only other time we will see something this low is interleague play against Pedro Martinez next week! Can't wait to see the lines for that game.

The D-Backs do put up some runs w/Schilling and Johnson on the mound. I got a chance to chat w/B. Anderson at a function here in Phoenix and despite his record he is very positive and feels he is throwing the ball better than in his career and has good movement on all his pitches His last outing he gave up only 2 hits but they lost the game. He has had a tough time getting any run support from his teammates. His record is a mere 0-4 with a 5.44 era...as we know numbers do not tell the whole story with this guy. He's always around the plate only giving up 11 BB's this year but giving up 64 hits in 49.2 innings...he looks for his team to make the plays in the field as his K's are at 25....I am not trying to push him down any1's throat but I saw a person who was in know way conceded just to be a part of MLB but a person who knows he has a way's to go. Take a peek next time he pitches and lets see if he can get some run production...GL guys

Nickelback--

Thanks for the headsup on Schilling. Strep throat is not that minor. I have to believe we probably won't see 8 innings out of him if that's true. Would you like the over if you knew there was a good chance Eddie Oropesa or Mike Morgan were going to pitch?
