ARE THE PADRES THE WORST TEAM IN THE LAEGUE?...A SOLID ARGUMENT CAN BE MADE ...BUT I THINK THEY BECOME EVEN WORSE WHEN FACING A LEFTY...THEY HAVE BEEN AWFUL TO SAY THE LEAST AGAINST LEFTIES THIS YEAR....ROGERS ISNT WHAT HE USED TO BE...BUT I HAVE TO THINK HE CAN KEEP THIS PATHETIC BUNCH OFF THE BOARD ....MINNY SHOULD CRUSH THIS TEAM...BUT NOTHING IS EVER ETCHED IN STONE ....SO THERE ARE ALWAYS RISKS...BUT THIS ONE LOOKS NICE...

I WILL BE KEEPING AN EYE ON THIS ONE...AS I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE ON MINNY...WHICH WORRIES ME...SO BEFORE I MAKE IT A BIG PLAY I WNAT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS FRIDAY..SO FOR NOW JUST A REGULAR $100 PLAY...

Like this one, too, cooz. Burrough's probably not gonna play, either. He took a fastball right on his left elbow in the 1st inning, and it swelled up on him top on 2nd and he had to come out. Rogers' last 6 starts were against Bos twice, Oak twice, Sea, and KC. So definitely a big drop in opponents faced tomorrow. SD is 6-13 in 1st game of series. Pretty cheap price at -135.

YANKEES ARE OK THIS YEAR....BUT I HAVE WATCHED THIS TEAM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...(BEING A SOX FAN)...AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE NOT THE SAME TEAM AS THE PAST FEW YEARS...ERRORS AT VITAL TIMES ...BULLEPEN IS HIT OR MISS...BUT BETTER LATELY...I HAVE THE UPMOST RESPECT FOR DAVID WELLS AS A PITCHER I CANT REFUTE THAT HE HAS PITCHED SOME BIG GAMES EFFECTIVELY AND HAS HAD A GREAT CAREER...BUT FAVORED AT MINUS 150 ON THE ROAD COMING OFF A SERIES LOSS TO CINCI ...THEY GOT A HANDFUL FROM DETROIT IN THE LAST SERIES AND NEEDED A BOTTOM OF THE NINTH WIN AGAINST THE SOX TO WIN THAT SERIES AFTER LEADING 5-1 GOING INTO THE NINTH...MAYBE THE ODDS SHOULD GIVE ME A WARNING THAT THE YANKEES TAKE THIS ONE BEING FAVORED MINUS 150 SEEMS A LITTLE ODD...BUT I HAVE TO TAKE THE CUBS AND ZAMBRANO AT HOME BECAUSE I THINK ITS A NICE LINE FOR A SOLID PITCHER AT HOME AGAINST A TEAM THAT IS UP AND DOWN THIS YEAR AND IS LIVING OFF OF ITS REPUTATION RATHER THAN ITS ACTUAL PRODUCTION THIS YEAR ...DONT GET ME WRONG THE YANKEES ARE STILL A GOOD TEAM AND COULD GO ON A NICE RUN AND STILL WIN THE DIVISION ETC..ETC.. BUT AT THIS JUNCTURE IN THE SEASON AND THIER PRODUCTION THUS FAR I DONT SEE THEM AS A 150 FAVORITE OVER THE CUBS ON THE ROAD WITH ZAMBRANO PITCHING....

I agree with cooz here, spock. FWIW, I play baseball just like hockey in that why play a dog if you don't think it will bark. And if you keep turning it around and pay the juice just for that 1/2 puck or 1 1/2 run, over the long run you will almost definitely lose money. Actually, I think I only played the doggy puckline twice all season and both were on the Panthers who for some reason play a lot of ties at home. Anyways, just my 2 cents
