the line movement on this game... wow. just shooting up this morning. perhaps due to the exchange rate? anyways, i've got two friends at this game. they just gave me the weather report... IT'S IN A FREAKING DOME!!

so, i hit the two biggest plays of my life yesterday, which means i'm due to fall right back down to earth. here are 2 good fades for you.

uconn (-7) 1 unit. glad i grabbed it when i did... could it go higher than 7? anyways, UB will be seriously fired up for their first bowl game. they should have a decent 'home field' advantage. plus, their style is much more condusive to playing indoors, while an outdoors game would have favored uconn. so pretty much every intangible points to UB as the play. and, as we've seen so far this bowl season (and every bowl season), superior talent alone does not guarantee a bowl win. so why is the line shooting up so dramatically? i don't know either. but i gotta ride it. obviously if uconn shows up, they win the game easily. and they're still a very young program, so bowl games should mean something to these kids. no doubt they want to purge the memory of that second half against pitt in the season finale. if they have the patience to stick with the running game, they will dominate the game. and UB hasn't seen a defense like this all year. the closest was at pitt, and UB only scored 16 points in that game.

under (51.5) 1 unit. this is probably redundant, and therefore a stupid play. if UB is scoring in this game, it's very unlikely uconn will be able to hang with them. fortunately for me, i never claimed to be smart.
