Fairfield is dead tired at the moment, their last real home game was dec 23th against G W. They have lost 5 out of their last 6 games and are still on the road tonight in iona. Fairfield has a decent defense and a great player in Deng Gai. But this won't help them tonight. Iona recently beat Marist by 20 at home, and Farfield a few days back lost to Marist by 9, of course on the road. Iona is 4-1 against the spread since 97 against Fairfield and owns the overall series at 49-29. Last year Fairfield beat Iona in Iona by 4 while shooting %53 overall and an astounding %60 beond the arc. The revenge factor absoultly comes into effect tonight as Iona wins this one by 7.

Yeah i think you are right. I guess dec 23 against G W was last home game? crazy, i have never seen a schedule like that. it's unbelievable.

This isn't a great game to play, but this is what I have in my notes...

The following is a SU trend, but since the line is only 2, a SU win should cover...

Home teams off a road win by 10 or more points vs. a team off a road loss in which they scored less than 60 points are 17-3 ATS the last 3 seasons and 33-4 ATS the last 5 seasons. The average point differential in these games over the past 5 seasons is 14.

Here's an interesting ATS trend...

Teams with a win % between 20-40% that are coming off a SU win as a dog are 14-3 ATS the last 5 seasons IF they are playing a team with a winning record. Iona fits tonight.

Against common opponents, Iona has played much better going 2-0 as compared to Fairfield's 1-2 mark. However, in these games Iona has averaged 9 more points scored while giving up 4 less points per contest.

I'd have to lay the points tonight.
