Does anyone have any ideas on getting tickets for Iowa/Wisky game this weekend? The wife and I are going to visit friends there and have never been to Iowa City .... are tickets readily available to scalp on game day around the stadium?? Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

First thing tomorrow morning give the ticket office a call and see if there any tix available that way. Iowa hasn't sold out a game yet this season but have to think this one is a sellout seeing its Bucky coming to town.
Tix are available on eBay or stub hub and there are always scalpers out front of Kinnick if you want to wait until Saturday to get them.

I'm going and scalping as well. There will be plenty of opportunities to scalp. If you are willing to hold out until game time you can get a pretty good deal.
We tailgate in the dental college lot across from carver-Hawkeye arena. Just north of Kinnick stadium.

It is a high dollar donor lot--the RV lot is right to the South of where we are at...only a 5 minute walk to the stadium from there vs. our 10 minute one.....

In all the years I've been going to Iowa games I can count on one hand the number of times I've been to olive ct to tailgate, and I never went after they started charging to walk in.
Back in my undergrad days we tailgated right across the street from where the tennis courts used to be.... The main hospital was much smaller back then.....
Tailgated for years at the top of myrtle ave as a friend of mine owns 3 houses in a row before the church-- he can put 80 cars in his property--

Haven't been to a Magic Bus tailgate since Brian sold it to the wrestlers-- that had to have been at least 15 yrs ago.
Premise is still the same-- a few dollars for a cup, lots of kegs. Band playing on the roof of the bus--- had plenty of friends bands play the bus over the years-- and the location then couldn't be beat-- right across Melrose from Kinnick...
