Iowa St +2 over Texas *****
Think wrong team is favored. Have so much on this game but am doing basketball games and have no real time. Iowa State has a good solid qb in Purdy. They have maybe the best running back in the country in Hall.. if you haven't seen this kid watch him on Friday. He is 6'1 about 205 and hits the hole and can adjust and go right by the Texas LB's who are terrible. He will be the best back they Longhorns see all year. When ISU brings in 3 tight ends they will blow right by Texas DL. Texas DL is solid but Lb's and backs are in trouble. Purdy can throw at qb and has about 3 or 4 wr's in his offense. They play power run game and mix it up with its TE offense. Texas has a solid qb in and avg wr's He Has no running back except they do have Bjorn Robinson who is a 5 star back who got 12 carries in last game. Herman the coach is so overrated..Is on the hot seat and if he loses this game he is gone..Fired 7 coaches last year and is in the same boat this year.. Its Erlinger last game at home, senior day etc Herman's press conference he talked about how Texas will miss their qb.. playing his last home game. guess what Coach. Its your last home game too. You recruit great but can't coach and teach after they get here. IF you gave the ball to Bjorn maybe I would grab the +2 but you are to dumb to see the whole picture. Mean while Campbell the Iowa St coach will figure out what Texas does and stop them They just shut out K-State 45-0 last week Texas hasn't played in 3 weeks since the KU game was cancelled. So I would also play Iowa St 1 st quarter score. Think Texas with all its rust will be hit by a sledge hammer when Hall breaks one for a quick TD.

UTSA -3.5 over North Texas ****
Harris the qb is back and Sincere is 2nd in the nation in rushing only behind Hall in rushing yards. NT defense will not be able to stop Sincere or the 3 wr;s the Roadrunner have. Harris can throw and run out of the pocket. NT has Torry and darden as offense weapons but that won't be enough. Roadrunners win this by a td or more.

Texas St +16 over Coastal
Last weeks come from behind 47-45 win was great over Ark St. What a great game to watch. McBride the qb I like but was benched by Tx St had over 400 yds and 5 td's.. Was invited to the UTSA-North Texas game in San Antonio or go see tx St with my season tickets on Saturday. Tomorrow night have season tickets to Tx St basketball game .. Or could go to Texas - Tex Rio ..basketball game.. staying 6 fet away and being safe.. Not sure yet about Tx St covering Coastal is 8-0 and ranked.. going to wait until friday

Doing basketball games now..

Memphis -13 over Navy **
Liberty -37.5 over UMass **

Now that I see you big on Iowa State, I feel even better about it. It was one that I circled right away as I think Iowa State is the better team.

60% chance of rain here in Austin on Friday.. think this helps Iowa St even more since their run game with big time stud Hall who can break one on any one carry. Plus they bring in there 3 tight end offense when they run attack . Think anyone here could gain 2.5 yds behind their OL and TE's. Kolar is a future NFL tight end. On defense they have different schemes that rush 3 and drop 8 back. By the time the Texas offensive coordinators figure out what Campbell is doing on defense they will be lining up for the next play. Texas won't be able to adjust that fast. Iowa defense is very solid and and changes schemes on almost every play. Rush 3 drop 8,rush 4 and drop 7,rush 5 and blitz, etc etc. Like Herman said in his press conf " these guys are so well coached and so balanced on offense and defense. Hall has 1,600 yds rushing and there is no way Texas can contain him. And if they do try to put 7 or 8 guys in the box Purdy the qb will have a field day passing.
Also think the over is a good play
Over 56.5 but weather could factor in.

Weather could be a factor but even on a sunny beautiful day still think Texas cannot stop the Cyclones. Can't find a 1st quarter line but found a halftime line at pick'em. The game is now a pick'em in some places Took a small halftime play but pounded the the +2.
Texas hasn't played a game in almost 3 weeks ,20 days..and Iowa St is coming off a shutout win over KSU. Everyone all week here is talking about the rust factor. Herman the coach has mentioned it numerous times. He is worried.. But rust or no rust Campbell will adjust during the game and see' what is Texas doing.. If they are trying to stop Breece Hall forget it. But if Texas puts 7 or 8 guys in the box Purdy has some excellent wr's and some big Tight ends as targets. Texas offense has a weak running attack except they have Bjorn Robinson.. a 5 star who last game had 12 carries and avg 8 yds per carry. Herman has been hit by the media and 1.8 million fans about why aren't you using this blue chipper . Herman answers are so bad. So this week he has to unleash Bjorn and that is the only thing that scares me tomorrow. The only good news is that Ingram there other back is back and might start. Another small factor that worries me is Whitington is back as a wr. This is the most electric player on the team. A superstar freshmen who sat out all year.. this year again is out all year. He pulled a hamstring on the lunch line in the athletic dorm. He was tagged to start at slot back and again he is healthy for the 3rd time in 2 years. Hopefully as the players tomorrow enter the field with Bevo leading in the background and with all the smoke he will pull another hamstring as the " eyes of texas: are being played.
The winner of this game plays for the B-12 championship final. Iowa St last won a title when Woodrow Wilson was president and World war 1 was going on..
the over is looks good too but also playing
1st half Pk Iowa St ***
Iowa St +2 *****

62,welcome to MJ's 1st post.. The game starts at 11.00 am central and the forecast is now for 80% chance of rain. Even w/o the rain I think the Cyclones win but with the rain they have more of an advantage esp when they run the 3 Tight end offense.. Again they have a running back that on any given carry can break one .. he is a home run hitter ...actually Texas also has a good rb but he is a freshmen and their coach hasn't used him .

70%80% chance of rain from 10am to 1 pm ..here in Austin..again think Iowa St uses its star running back and all B-12 TE Kolar. If Texas stops Hall ,Purdy will be able to adjust and hit his wr's and TE's.
1st qrt even ***
think after Texas not playing for almost 3 weeks Cyclones come out fast after Hall breaks one.
