big papi,

don't put too much into the line movement in this game - it was on of dr bob's picks and that is why you're seeing the dip down to 7ish

LA Burns is right. Not only was it one of his picks, it was his biggest pick of the week. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at +5 or less before kickoff.

I have not been impressed with Mich St. They have beat nobody. See Ringer wearing down and i think Iowa can contain him. I think Iowa will be able to run on Mich St and keep it close with a chance to win.

It is also about time for the annual Sparty implosion to take place. I don't know if I like the moneyline, but I agree that Iowa can control the one dimensional offense.

Personally, I think Mich. St. is a little overvalued. They have a good record, but I think most of their wins have been closer than the final score would indicate. And on the flip side, the week 1 loss at Cal wasn't nearly as close as the score would indicate. Last week they were +3 in turnover margin at Indiana, otherwise that was a very even game. Also, after 4 wins in a row I just think MSU will suffer a little bit of a letdown.

I also think Iowa isn't as bad as they have looked the last few weeks. They looked bad against ISU, Pitt and Northwestern the last 3 weeks, but that's one of the reasons I like them on Saturday. I just think this is going to be a bounceback game for the Hawks. Greene should have a big game and, IMO, Iowa is a much better team with Stanzi at the helm.

Why do you think Iowa wins outright?

It sounds like the people that have watched Michigan State hate Michigan State and the people that have watched Iowa hate Iowa.

Something about the devil that you don't know. . . .

I think IU outplayed Michigan State, but Spartan Stadium brings out a different team. I'll be on the Spartans (but more accurately - against Iowa) if it goes under 7

I can get it at 6.5 at one of my books and I grabbed Iowa +10.5 ( the opening line was 9.5 and another book I use offers me a point on my favorite team..:D)

Will wait until the AM to pull the trigger on Sparty minus the points to see if the line will drop even lower. Nice middle opportunity for me--crosses the key football numbers of 7 and 10, would be cool to be able to add the 6 as well....

Whole Big-10 is terrible if you ask me. Hope the Penn State backers drive that line back to 14 or more and I'll be all over Purdon't tomorrow.

Looking for Purdue as well. There's as much parity in the Big 10 this year as any that I can remember. Looking forward to see how it progresses.
