Ipod download help needed

My PC crashed and I lost the music I downloaded on to it, but I still have the music on my Ipod. Is there a way I can download the music from my Ipod to my new PC?

Unfortunately not.

External hard drives are well worth their money for this reason alone. Especially since the prices for these hard drives are virtually nothing compared to the amount of storage that you get.

You can get music off of your ipod onto another computer? This is news to me.

Yes, you can do it. Once you hook up your i-pod to any computer with "i-tunes" loaded on it you can "import" or "export" your files to and from.

I apologize for giving bad info. I always thought that Apple had the encryption down to where you couldn't do two-way transfers.

You can also download Ipod rescue for $30 and it will take the music from your ipod and put it back on your pc.
