Wow the White House and State Dept have invited the world famous Iraqi Orchestra to perform in USA. This is part of the show and tell on how things have improved in Iraq. This would be the same Iraq our President could not stay at more then 2 hours because of security risk. Now what do you think this will cost us Americans. If you want to do something American Sir. Invite a ton of American School Children from our own wonderful country. In fact sponser one from each state. Call it the fab 50. Have them sing xmas songs for all of us. Hate to say it sir. But I dont give a chit about the Iraqi Orchestra. And I dont care if it only cost us 1/2 a mill, for there one week stay. I dont think we should have spent a dime.

Sorry had to update the info. In anycase it's your money Blitz. I bet you will drive down to DC just to see them play. I hope your not telling us you would not rather have spent the money on some American kids.
hmm, I'll have to say I agree with you, djv. I don't give a darn about the Iraq orchestra either the same as I wouldn't care about any orchestra. Doubly bad since it is costing so much.
