Basra food, medicine,arriving. They fight like cats and dogs over it.
And all the time they chant long live Saddam. A reporter asked a couple if they speak english. He then asked are you not happy to be free of Saddam and to get this food and medicine. Why chant long live Saddam. He is better then the Americans and British is the answer. They just want the oil and there way of life here.
This handing out of food went on for over 3 hours. This one reporter said he was shocked they would not be happy to be rid of Saddam. He added was not sure if he could have stood another 5 minutes of that constant chanting.

They are muslims. They hate us, why would you believe for one second that they want us there. They do not want our way of life, as they deplore it. No matter how bad SADDAM is to them they'd rather be dead that be controlled by what they call infidels.
To think that they were going to welcome us with open arms is absolutely asanine, however that is what the bush administration sold to the average stupid american.

no i was more sold to the fact that saddam has chemical weopons, and he wouldnt hesitate to sell them off to terrorists who would like nothing more than to bring them over in a suitcase..

once the Iraqi people are sure Saddam and his sons are truly gone.. i think they will be greatful he is gone.. but will they like the US.. nope probably not for a long time:
