What did you think Anthony? Took my 11 year old tonight. We really enjoyed it.

Downey sure has come back in a big way. He's funny as Hell in this flick!

Gonna make a few bucks this weekend, don't you think? Our theatre was packed.

Oh, did you happen to notice the blonde reporter? Fine!

Hope you liked it.

How inappropriate would it be for me to take my 4 year old? Soccer games are cancelled today, so I have to get out of the house, and I really want to see this movie.

Violence & Gore

Lots of missiles as well as other war machines throughout the movie. The scene in which Stark is operated on is a bit intense. After some fights there are men who have pretty nasty scars. The is a device that paralyzes people that causes veins to appear in the face as well as some blood to come out of the ears.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking

No drugs at all. Obadiah can be seen smoking with a cigar at many times. There is a moderate level of drinking (Tony Starks) but it wouldn't be so much to call it an addiction for him.
Frightening/Intense Scenes
EditHistory

Iron Man contains some intense fighting scenes. They are extended at some points. Mainly scenes of battle or impending fights.

I would take my 8 yr old and 7 yr old

Talked to two friends who saw it yesterday. It was a borderline decision, but I am opting out of taking him to this one. I think he needs a couple more years.

I think I would let him watch it here, but at the theater it may be too intense. I don't want to get up at 2 am to assure him that a robot is not coming after him. :nono:
