[The Boys]

Vikings follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the sagas of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family, as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods, legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors.

I loaded The History Channel app on my ipad to watch this, about 4 episodes in. My kind of show, but then again I like the Spartacus, Troy, Gladiator type of movies or shows.

I agree, I also like those type shows. Plus Vikings is good and brutal, bloody and violent, makes it even more interesting.

I'm watching and its a good show. Normally don't watch anything scripted unless its Sons of Anarchy, but my brother turned me to it and its been fun to watch so far.....:0074

Very enjoyable series. If you like to read, check out the "Lords of the North" series by Bernard Cornwell; he writes about the same time period and characters.

I love the show. I'm afraid it's going to get canceled, I never hear anyone talking about it. I love it though and my wife, the reality TV queen, even enjoys it.
