Schilling left for Chicago a day early in order to get ready for this game. . . have to believe he'll be ready and the way the DBack's have been hitting/playing lately, there's no reason for me to believe they can't cover this spread. However, still a lot of value in 2.5 runs. . . good luck if you decide to play it!

Cubs haven't faced them since last season...it's worth a shot...
but ask yourself this question:

ARIZONA has covered AND WON their last five games by more than a +2.5 spread.....can they do it one more time....on the road?

and this'll be rookie S.Smyth's first start at home....

i'm off this game cause of the high chalk.

good luck tonite.

One thing that might work in your favour is that a few Cubs hit Schilling fairly well:

Alou .347 17/47
Mueller .375 9/24
Sosa .326 14/43

Good luck with the +2.5 if you play it....

Schilling is 6-6 lifetime vs the Cubbies and right now is coasting towards a second CY Young and is notorious for giving up late runs. Check the weather report again. Smyth is a soft tossing lefty and AZ isn't bashful from Lefties at all.

Laying 3 dollars is a lot of money to play. I'd go dog in this contest or pass.

Best of luck.
