I have been ice cold since I have been in this forum. But if I am laying 200 in this game it is on the rockies. I am waiting for lineups. If walker makes the start I think I will jump on the rockies to day. Thompson has been good enough for me. I know bere has been good but with the wind blowing out today anything is possible. My buddy in chi town is telling me that the wind keeps gusting between 12-20 mph out to center. could be a slug fest.

The line may be a bit high, but facts suggest that the Rockies are not a team to jump on. They have lost 7 of last 10; last 3. Biggest reason to get off Rockies is their horrendous 18-35 record away. Cubs are 33-18 at home. I guess this is why the Cubbies are favored at such a big number. Another factor could be that Colorado starter is winless on the year. Not recommending a bet on Cubs at this price, but wouldn't suggest Rockies, either, despite big price. GLTA

Look at it this way. Bere ain't my favorite pitcher. Thomson pitched 7 decent inn. at Coors after 2+ months layoff. Cubs aren't exactly tearing apart righties lately. and they barely pulled one off last night.
Won't say Rockies, but no way I'm playin' Flubbies @ -190.
Having said that, I will admit that the Rockies are in a nose-dive.
