At least he sang for f's sake! I CANT STAND halftime shows where its just a bunch of lipsynching, I'll go out and buy a Janet Jackson CD from 10 years ago if thats what I wanted to hear. Compare this to U2 2 years ago? What the hell is with this lipsynching phenomena?

What the hell is with this lipsynching phenomena?
basically....it's the record companies wanting to capitalize on these "performers" that can't carry a tune....most who are signed merely on looks/image alone....and sold/packaged to the public as great artists....strictly for the almighty buck....the advance in recording/programming technology has made this lunacy that much easier to perpetrate!!!
that and the public's general ignorance/disinterest to the fact that most of these pop icons really are that untalented!!!
