On the course!
I really want to take the Pens tonight -1' goals.

+225 for it.

That extra half goal will bite your ass more often than not in playoff hockey, but I think the Penguins are in a great spot here.

They can close this thing out, and will play all out for the entire game. What about Washington? They need to win or go home, and this means they will pull all of the stops.

I think the Pens will have the lead in this game, and Washington will pull their goalie with as much as two plus minutes left in the game. That will be a huge edge for Pittsburgh, and I think they will win this one by at least the two goals needed.

There is no way I will lay -175 for the even up win.

Please give me your feedback.

It sounds good; +220 is attractive. however..

Here, you win if Pittsburgh wins:
(Under 5)

2-0
3-0
3-1
4-0

And also:
(= 5)

4-1
5-0

And finally...
(Over 5)

4-2
5-1
5-2
5-3
6-0
6-1
6-2
6-3
6-4
...

So far this year, Pittsburgh -1.5 is..

At home:
---------------------------
13-10 when it goes OVER 5
3-6 when it goes UNDER 5
2-9 when = 5
.
11-8 when it goes OVER 6
5-15 when it goes UNDER 6
2-2 when = 6

Overall:
---------------------------
25-27 when it goes OVER 5
5-14 when it goes UNDER 5
3-13 when = 5
.
19-19 when it goes OVER 6
8-27 when it goes UNDER 6
6-8 when = 6

.
.
.

The O/U is:

In Pittsburgh:
---------------------------
(total = 5 for all games)
13-3-2 when Pittsburgh wins by 2 or more

(total = 6 for all games)
11-5-2 when Pittsburgh wins by 2 or more

Overall:
---------------------------
(total = 5 for all games)
25-5-3 when Pittsburgh wins by 2 or more

(total = 6 for all games)
19-8-6 when Pittsburgh wins by 2 or more

Of course, this is a playoff game, and as you know, the scores are lower during the playoffs. But you might still have a nice opportunity here. If the game goes over, Pittsburgh has more chance to cover <--> If Pittsburgh covers, chances are better for the OVER.

The posted total for this game is 5O15. Bring out your own conclusions...

It might be worth a small shot, but these two teams have had a bunch of 1 goal games.

I believe only 2 games have been more than 1 goal wins between last yr and this years series. The good news Pitt won both of those games. More than likely it will be a 1 goal win for either team.

just of note:

home teams in the first round up 3-2 in the series games are:

23-15 in game 6 (60.6%)

Pitt is something like 18-19 over the years in games to clinch a playoff series.....that sucks.

I still see them winning this by 2 or more, and I have backed it with a decent sized wager.

I was just getting ready to root for the empty netter, when Washington tied it up before they needed to pull the goalie....
